Zombies from all walks of life trudged out to Trinity Bellwoods park on Sunday for the sixth annual Zombie Walk.

Coordinator of the walk, Thea Munster, said she estimated nearly 2,000 zombies to be in attendance.

As a prelude to Halloween and a part of the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, zombies traipsed around the grounds in search of their favourite nourishment - brains.

The sun shone through the autumn leaves to reveal a dark yet entertaining underbelly of Toronto’s un-dead.

Jon Sufrin filed this ghoulish report for The Daily Planet.
